Students must receive passing scores on all AFMC exams. A passing grade on the AFMC Level 1 Exam will determine completion of the Core 101 Semester and a passing grade on the AFMC Level 2 Exam will determine completion of the Advanced 202 Semester. As individuals complete each level, they will receive instructions on how to request credits of completion within a few weeks after the AFMC certification window closes.
For National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWCs), CE units are eligible for immediate qualification under the NBHWC Continuing Education Provider #100159. Whether or not your SAFM course or certification work can be applied toward your recertification with NBHWC depends upon when you completed that work and where you are in your current recertification window with NBHWC. Please consult the NBHWC Recertification Handbook or the NBHWC team at https://nbhwc.org/ for details regarding your personal situation.
