Your SAFM program includes two types of LIVE programming - Facebook Lives and ZOOM Webinars. The FB Lives take place inside the Facebook platform at a scheduled date and time. You can join by going directly to The School of Applied Functional Medicine FB page at the scheduled date and time to join. These are always recorded and can be found approximately 24 hours after the event on that same FB page in the Videos section.
ZOOM webinars are hosted on the ZOOM software platform. To participate with video, you will need to have ZOOM installed on your devices. It's free of charge. If you don't already have ZOOM, the email with the webinar information will include a link to download and install this software. If you forget to do so ahead of time, you will be prompted to download it when you try to join into the webinar.
The process is easy and self-explanatory. ZOOM is available on a variety of devices - computers, tablets and phones. Use whichever device is most convenient for you; you can have this software available on all of you devices if you wish. If you can not experience a ZOOM webinar with video, the email with the webinar information will include a phone number and a unique code - use these to join via phone. If joining by phone, you will not be able to ask questions or participate in the chat feature. All webinars are recorded and available for on-demand viewing in the various areas of your student dashboard. You do not need ZOOM to watch a pre-recorded video.
